The chosen corpus comprises the most relevant festivals in the State, which took place between 2019 and 2021 in some potiguar municipalities. With that in mind, this work presents a brief history of each of these events, important not only as a way of encouraging audiovisual production, but also of promoting the distribution of independent films. Thus, as it proposes an important contribution, based on the interviews with the producers and the discussions that emerged from them, for research on the potiguar audiovisual.Festivais de cinema.
