The insertion of acoustic solutions into existing buildings comes as one of the contemporary themes, with cinema being one of the uses that requires modernization of heritage constructions. In Natal, the building of ASSEN - Association of Subtenants and Sergeants of the Army of Natal - a exemple of modern architecture built in 1963, is in a state of abandonment and is eminent, therefore, a proposal of reuse that respects its characteristics rather than allowing this architectural memory to be lost, as has already happened with many other buildings in the city. Thus, the main objective of this work is to prepare a preliminary project of reuse of this building in a cultural space focused on the interaction between cinema and other forms of arts, with the insertion of acoustic strategies.
