The aim of the study was to identify tree species, shrubs and palm trees from 1.3 meters, located in squares, sidewalks, flowerbeds and public roads. During data collection, through an excel spreadsheet, the following data were noted, popular name or scientific name, place where the tree had been planted, height measurement, phytosociological situation, origin of the species and possible conflicts generated by the trees. At the end of the survey, 16 species were identified, totaling 316 individuals, located in squares (65.51%), sidewalks (18.35%), flowerbeds (14.24%) and roads (1.9%). Among the families with the highest number of individuals, the Arecaceae (27.53%), Meliaceae (23.42%) and Bignoniaceae (18.99%) families stand out. The individuals in greater quantity were Azadirachta indica A. Juss (74), Veitchia merrillii (30) and Ficus benjamina (25). Most species are of exotic origin (77%), natives add up to 23%. Regarding the size of the trees, most are from 1.3 m to 7 meters, around 80.06%. The species had good phytosociological conditions, but low levels of floristic diversity. Regarding the conflicts that could be caused by the location of the tree planting, around 27 individuals broke the sidewalks due to root growth.
