Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Graduação em Química do Petróleo) – Instituto de Química, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2017.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/38304This work reports the aluminum insertion in the network of STF-type zeolites synthesized with different Si / Al ratios, in a hydrofluoric medium used as a mineralizing agent and with 1,2,3-triethyl-4-methylimidazolium (123TE4MI) as structure-director. Initially, the product was obtained with the iodide anion and converted to the hydroxide form. The crystallinity of the materials was monitored at different crystallization times (4 - 11 days), noting that the increase in crystallinity was not linear as a function of time. The imidazolium cation and the obtained materials were characterized by the following techniques: X-ray diffraction (XRD), thermogravimetric analysis and derivative thermogravimetry (TG and DTG), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), infrared spectroscopy (IR), nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS).
