The piece in study was written in the year of 2005, dedicated to the author of this research, and was composed during the composer's stay with the Banda Filarmônica 24 de Outubro in the city of Cruzeta/RN, in a period of compositional experimentation. The theoretical basis for the technical preparation process suggestion of the piece is rooted in the works of ARAÚJO (2016), SILVA (2021), CAMPIONE (2001), ALVES (2013), LIMA (2006) and BONADE (2022). The reflections on the interpretative aspects were conducted based on a comparison between two performances of the work made by the author of this research at different times (2005 and 2023), having as support the works of SLOBODA (1985), CARVALHO (2021), LABOISSIÈRE (2003) and ABDO (2000).
