Interior tourism can include a variety of activities, such as cultural tours, visits to historical sites, rural tourism, and adventure tourism, among other options. The goal is to explore the cultural and natural riches of the regions less known and less visited by tourists. In turn, tourism routing allows tourism to develop. For tourism routing, it is necessary to know well the region in which you intend to create the route, identifying the main tourist attractions, cultural and historical characteristics. This article aims to present the scripting and elaboration of tourist packages of travel agencies and operators to the interior of the State (Rio Grande do Norte). As specific objectives, a) characterize the agencies and tour operators surveyed; b) identify the segments treated in the interior tourism of Rio Grande do Norte; and c) evaluate the packages and itineraries of tourism in the interior as to the aspects directed to the support infrastructure in the permanence of tourists in the destinations visited. In methodology, the research has a mixed approach (quali-quanti) and data were collected through an online questionnaire, applied to agents working in agencies and operators in Natal-RN. The results show that there is a fragile form of inland tourism due to lack of structure and a wide range of services.
