But also show that the cognitive of a child with mental retardation, accompanied by specialist teachers in special education, may develop in the educational field. For conceptual delimitation start from readings taken in the works of Carvalho (2003), Jannuzzi (2006), Voivodic (2004), among other employees of inclusive education. Working then the question of pedagogical practice used by the school for the inclusion of students with Down syndrome.
