For example, this stage is where seismic data processing for the study of soil characteristics is performed. Among many methods and algorithms used during the different stages of treatment of a seismic data, the Full Waveform Inversion has been gaining attention, since it is an efficient algorithm for obtaining good results in complex geologies. The present work seeks to optimize a FWI code already implemented in parallel, using Message Passing Interface (MPI), for distributed memory computational systems, which has task scheduling between different master-slave processes.
