Nova Holanda: uma discussão historiográfica sobre o tráfico de escravos africanos no Brasil Holandês (1630-1654). 2020. 93f. Dissertação (Mestrado em História) - Centro de Ciências Humanas, Letras e Artes, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2020.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/31392The research is characterized as a study on the African slave trade in colonial Brazil under the Dutch yoke, between the years 1630 to 1654, established in the historical period known as Dutch domination in the northern captaincies, a project consolidated by the strategic and systematic occupation of these captaincies in addition to the surrounding sugar regions in line with the guidelines of the Dutch Company of the West Indies (WIC). Recife becomes the administrative headquarters of the new Dutch territory, inserting the South Atlantic in the field of dutch-Iberian disputes. Knowing this, such research brings with it the following objectives: a) to discuss critically and analytically how the African trafficking in the South Atlantic by the Dutch took place; b) to propose a new discussion on the departure of the Dutch from the Northern Captaincies and surroundings. Thus, it is intended to develop a historiographical analysis of Dutch spaces in the South Atlantic, tracing a snapshot of the known world scene of the 17th century. It aims to problematize the advent of the Dutch company in America, its urban social complexities, institutional dealings (WIC) and the analysis of established connections as well as created by the simultaneous occupation of regions in Africa and Brazil. The study will consist of bibliographic-documentary research of qualitative and quantitative statistical data of the slave trade in the 17th century.Acesso AbertoBrasil HolandêsTráfico AtlânticoEscravidão africanaBrasil seiscentistaNova Holanda: uma discussão historiográfica sobre o tráfico de escravos africanos no Brasil Holandês (1630-1654)masterThesis
