The motivation for this study arose during the mandatory curricular internship, in which a weakness in communication between team professionals was found. This failure can compromise the flow of SAE/HGT demands, since intraprofessional communication is an essential mediation to guarantee users' right to comprehensive hospital care. In this context, the general objective of this work is to analyze the determinants of the lack of satisfactory communication in the SAE/HGT. As specific objectives, we seek to: Understand the dynamics of communication between the multidisciplinary team, considering the SAE/HGT guidelines; Identify whether the team's communication flow complies with the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) issued on July 11, 2022; Analyze the relationships between communication and interprofessionality in work spaces in the Unified Health System (SUS). The methodological path included the identification of communication patterns and practices related to the research object. As a research method, a bibliographic review was used, based on literature on communication, information, interprofessionality, multiprofessionality, work, cultural manifestation and SUS. Institutional documents were also analyzed, such as the management reports of the Giselda Trigueiro Hospital for the years 2016 and 2021, in addition to publications from Social Service entities, including CFESS, CRESS, ABEPSS and ENESSO. The field experience was recorded in the Supervised Internship Reports and in Field Diaries I and II (2022-2023), prepared during the internship at the SAE/HGT outpatient clinic. Furthermore, this study was based on the parameters of action of social workers in health policy. Data analysis revealed the crucial importance of communication in the SAE multidisciplinary team at Hospital Giselda Trigueiro for the realization of users' health rights.
