The methodological strategy utilized included a qualitative exploratory type approach, due to the lack of research in this field, while documentary analysis was the procedure adopted. Considering that the study conducted was for a professional master’s degree, empirical pedagogical intervention was developed, starting with the elaborated methodology entitled “historical-digital literacy”. This methodology consists of a process to develop students’ skills for historical research which has been organized in three stages. In the first stage, students learn research procedures which allow them to construct historical knowledge; in the second stage, technical and digital knowledge acquired are applied to historical research; and finally, narrative competence is developed to express narratives with varied forms containing historical meaning. This research indicated that teaching through digital platforms can arouse students’ interest in History, pointing out the need for the teacher to mediate the teaching and learning process, as well as confirming that an investigative path in teaching this curricular component can provide for historical-digital literacy of students in basic education, stimulating historical thinking and reflection on different ways of teaching and learning History.Acesso AbertoLetramento histórico-digitalEnsino de HistóriaTecnologias digitaismasterThesisCNPQ::CIENCIAS HUMANAS::HISTORIA
