Sexuality is a factor of great importance for human beings. Therefore, sexual dysfunctions (SD) can negatively affect women at all ages, interfering with their quality of life, sexual function and relationships. Functioning is considered an indicator of health, and the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) describes it, providing a universal language. However, the relationship between sexual function and functionality is still little investigated in the different life cycles of women. Objective: To analyze the relationship between functionality and sexual function of Brazilian women in different stages of the life cycle. Methodology: This is a cross-sectional analytical study, following the rules of STROBE. Carried out with Brazilian women in different stages of the life cycle, via an online platform (Google Forms – free resource), from January to October 2022. years without a child (n=153), up to 40 years with a child (n= 96), in the pregnancy-puerperal cycle (n=24) and in the climacteric (n=11). Women aged between 18 and 60 years old, cisgender and of heterosexual orientation, sexually active for at least 4 weeks, at any stage of the life cycle (adults without children, adults with children, pregnant women, puerperal women and climacteric women) were included in the survey. ) and with internet access. Participants answered an evaluation form, the Female Sexual Function Index (IFSF) and the WHO Disability Assessment Schedule (WHODAS 2.0). Data processing was performed using the Statistical Package for Social Science for Windows (SPSS, version 20.0). To present the results, the following were used: the significance level (p), adopting p<0.05. Results: Participants had a mean age of 29.61±7.08 years (18 to 49 years). Note that regardless of lifecycle stage, participants have a slight impact on overall and domain functionality. With regard to sexual function, all groups, except for women aged up to 40 without children, have sexual dysfunction. There were no statistically significant relationships between the study variables, when considering women in the pregnancy-puerperal cycle. For climacteric women, there was an inverse and strong voice between functionality and desire. Conclusion: The results of this study suggest that functionality and sexual function exist functionally in women up to 40 years of age without children and with children, and only in the desire domain in climacteric women, and there is no psychology of variable variables in women during the pregnancy-puerperal cycle .Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Brazilhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0/br/Classificação Internacional de Funcionalidade, Incapacidade e SaúdeSaúde da MulherDisfunções SexuaisEstágios do Ciclo de VidaInternational Classification of Functioning, Disability and HealthWomen's HealthSexual DysfunctionLife Cycle StagesRelação entre a funcionalidade e a função sexual em mulheres nas diferentes fases do ciclo de vidaRelationship between functionality and sexual function in women in different life cycle stagesRelación entre funcionalidad y función sexual en mujeres en diferentes etapas del ciclo de vidabachelorThesis
