By implementing health education strategies, it is possible to contribute to the understanding of ways to develop healthy lifestyle habits. When the target audience is children, adapting educational components and strategies such as comic books expands the possibilities of effectively passing on knowledge to children. Therefore, the objective of this study was to develop and validate comic books as a health education tool on healthy eating and physical habits for school children. The methodology is described in a collection of articles and organized into four stages. The first was a scoping review that aimed to characterize the bibliographic scope of experiences with comic books aimed at schoolchildren. The results presented the main characteristics of the studies found, such as year of publication, country of origin, target audience, and type of study. The second article aimed to characterize the epidemiological scope of consumption, eating habits and nutritional status in schoolchildren. The results highlight a dichotomy between the consumption of healthy and ultra-processed foods, mainly in the Southeast region. The third article was dedicated to the process of construction and validation of twelve comic strips with sequenced dialogues that make up the collection “My Healthy Life”, aimed at children. In this case, validation was obtained through the Content Validity Index, using the cutoff point ≥ 0.78 defined as an acceptable agreement, and it was found that all items were above or equal to the defined parameter. Therefore, the comic strips were validated under the evaluated criteria, and a reassessment by the judges was not necessary. Finally, the fourth article presents an educational intervention protocol mediated by the collection “My Healthy Life” for school children, which aims to contribute to ensuring a better quality of life and promoting health in schoolchildren. It is concluded that this thesis will contribute to the creation of educational programs that contemplate the education-health axis, delivering the comic strips as a registered and validated product, and an intervention protocol in the testing process, ensuring the continuity of this study that will be carried out in stages and published as the phases are approved.
