Natal, RN, 2018.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/48008This study emerges from the memories and life stories of a physical education teacher for visually impaired students of the Institute of Education and Blind Rehabilitation of the RN (IERC) and makes an analysis of how this load of knowledge acquired throughout life influence at your job. The research aims to understand the pedagogical practice of teacher Ana Cláudia, showing her trajectory and identifying the uniqueness of her work with the disabled. For that, a case study was carried out with the aforementioned teacher, seeking, through interviews with people who are part of her daily life and with herself, information about her life trajectory, from school to the present day, culminating in choose to become a physical education teacher for the visually impaired. The work is justified by the difficulty that physical education teachers encounter in working with visually impaired students and by the academic contribution that memories and life histories provide in teacher training.
