Starting from the premise that longevity is a crucial and unequally distributed social indicator, the study focuses on the underexplored influence of occupation. Using microdata from the 2010 Demographic Census and the Mortality Information System (SIM), the data were processed, smoothed, and corrected to construct specific life tables. The results reveal the existence of striking differentials in life expectancy among different occupational groups. This finding reinforces the importance of considering occupation in public health and actuarial analyses for the heterogeneous reality of the Brazilian workforce.pt-BRAttribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Brazilhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/br/Expectativa de vidaMortalidade ocupacionalOcupaçãoTábua de vidaBrasilDiferenciais na expectativa de vida por grupos ocupacionais no Brasil em 2010Differences in life expectation by occupational groups in Brazil in 2010bachelorThesisCIENCIAS EXATAS E DA TERRA
