Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso ( Graduação) - Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, 2024.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/59460This article aims to address the contributions of the experiences gained during the Mandatory Supervised Internships for pre-service teachers in the Dance Education program at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN). It discusses how these moments contribute to maturation and questioning about our future profession, as it is through practice that we can strengthen much of what we have learned in the 7 classroom. In addition to the references of the authors I will cite, I present my own perception, experiences, and learning derived from everything I experienced during and outside of the internships. It also exposes the difficulties and social narratives encountered during these times, as each environment has its own characteristics and always demands different thoughts and actions. Based on this academic journey, I highlight my concerns and perspectives on some narratives that have led me to reflect on how these internships have affected and continue to affect my perception of being a dance teacher and how these experiences have prepared us for the job market. Internships encompass the expansion of self-knowledge, understanding of the world, and the development of skills and identity, allowing us to experience moments with responsibility and social commitment, with a view toward a successful future professional practice.
