Cuidados Paliativos: relações entre equipe de enfermagem e familiares à luz da Teoria de Travelbee. 2020. 32 f. Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Graduação em Enfermagem) - Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Faculdade de Ciências da Saúde do Trairi, Santa Cruz, 2020.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/38656Objective: to identify the nursing team's perception about its relationship with the relatives of neonates and children who are in palliative care. Methods: Qualitative research, carried through in Unit of Neonatal Intensive Care and Pediatrics of a public maternity of Rio Grande do Norte, with 17 professionals of nursing, by means of semi-structured interview. After transcribed, the data were submitted to Bardin's content analysis and interpreted in light of Travelbee's Interpersonal Relations Theory. Results: From the analysis four categories emerged that indicate the perception of the participants about the object of study: "Caring and welcoming people, feelings and stories"; "Reactions in the midst of pain: transition between acceptance and suffering"; "Communication of bad news: challenges and strategies"; "The weight of care and suffering". Final Considerations: Assistance to family members can be established through the principles of Travelbee's theory, because it offers timely theoretical input for nursing actions in the context of palliative care.Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Brazilhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0/br/Cuidados PaliativosRelações InterpessoaisFamíliaProfissionais de EnfermagemEnfermagem PediátricaCuidados Paliativos: relações entre equipe de enfermagem e familiares à luz da Teoria de TravelbeePalliative Care: relations between nursing staff and family in the light of Travelbee TheorybachelorThesis
