Focusing on enthusiasts of these practices, the goal is to comprehend how stigmatization impacts their interpersonal interactions and integration into the local society. The research employs qualitative methods of semi-structured interviews to delve into the understanding of the experiences and perceptions of body modification enthusiasts in the face of stigmatization. Additionally, it examines the effects of this stigmatization on their personal relationships, such as friendships, family, workplace connections, and their journey of modification.
