A preparation that can form a critical being who is aware of his role in the world, who can build his lifestyle freely, having the autonomy to organize ways of existing and be responsible for his actions. The elaboration of this work took place from the consultations in the literature compared to the narratives of the participants of the band Extrutura, a musical group formed in the rural area of Macaíba-RN in 2007. This work brings a little of the history of the band and describes the context of origin and performance, such as the importance of music in the life of each band member and the paths taken by the participants with the end of the musical group. The overall goal is to understand human formation in the environment of a musical group.
