Industries, mainly through the burning of biomass, release gasses such as carbon dioxide (CO2), carbon monoxide (CO), hydrocarbons, among others. As a mitigating measure, the use of smoke condensers is essential to minimize the environmental impact that large furnaces cause, in addition to being an alternative source of income, as the liquid resulting from condensation, better known as Pyroligneous Extract (EP), has numerous uses. in the agricultural, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, veterinary industries, among others. The objective of the work was to carbonize in the muffle, at different carbonization rates (6 and 8 hours) and with different aromatic herbs (marjoram and rosemary) and eucalyptus wood. Approximately 400 grams of dry Eucalyptus urograndis wood were used and a percentage of 35% of aromatic herb was calculated for each round of carbonization. The data was submitted to the gravimetric yield formulas for coal, non-condensable gasses and EP.
