In this sense, both information management and process management are essential to ensure operational efficiency. Information management is an essential resource that can constitute a competitive advantage, while process management facilitates the understanding and optimization of logistics activities. Thus, with a greater understanding of the relationship between activities, it becomes possible to measure the effects in their operational and management context. Based on this scenario, this study aims to build and implement process management tools, aligned with information management in a distribution center of a retail company in the city of Natal-RN. To achieve this objective, an applied action research was carried out, with an exploratory objective and qualitative approach. The research involved regular visits, interviews with employees and observation of the company's daily operations. With this, it was possible to build a process flowchart that allowed the understanding of how the workflows work, identifying bottlenecks, repetitions and opportunities for improvement. In addition, spreadsheets were created to record receipts, schedule marking and record marking and transfer processes. In this way, performance indicators were formulated to evaluate and control marking and transfer activities, facilitating performance analysis and necessary adjustments. At the same time, process standardization included the preparation of a work instruction manual and employee training, promoting uniformity of activities and avoiding rework.
