Design e alzheimer: considerando o comprometimento cognitivo na avaliação de interfaces para aplicativos de dispositivos móveis. Orientador: José Guilherme Santa Rosa. 2019. 110 f. Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Graduação em Design) - Departamento de Design, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2019.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/47395This project aims to identify the difficulties experienced by Alzheimer’s patients concerning their interaction with mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets, widely used artifacts in modern society; as well as specify and propose recommendations that can guide interaction designers in designing interfaces for this audience. This objective was achieved through theoretical contributions and exploratory research supported by relevant authors in the fields of interface design and aging. The methodology used in this work was organized in seven stages, based on The Seven Modes of the Design Innovation Process, proposed by Vijay Kumar. After the seven stages of the methodology (Sense Intent, Know Context, Know People, Frame Insights, Explore Concepts, Frame Solutions and Realize Offerings), a checklist, named CCAPP 1.0 - Application Evaluation Criteria Checklist, was obtained; it allows the evaluation of the interfaces of applications that are aimed at this audience. Along with the checklist, it was also obtained as a result of this project a digital animated primer directed to interaction designers containing fundamental factors that must be taken into account when designing application interfaces for the audience in question. It is expected that the professionals of the field make use of these two tools proposed in the design and improvement of effective and friendly interfaces to the elderly public, with Alzheimer's and/or cognitive compromise.
