The inverse problem in geophysics aims to find a model of the properties of the medium from field data. New algorithms allowed inverse problems in geophysics to be treated with greater precision and speed, using global optimization to find the solution. In order to investigate the use of a global optimization algorithm in solving inverse problems, the Grasshopper Optimization Algorithm (AOG), inspired by the swarm behavior of grasshoppers in nature, is used to solve an inverse problem in electroresistivity in one dimension (1D). The results show that AOG can be used to solve electroresistivity problems.Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Brazilhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0/br/Otimização globalGlobal optimizationEletrorresistividadeVertical Electrical SoundingProblemas inversosGrasshopper Optimization AlgorithmAlgoritmo de otimização do gafanhotoElectroresistivityAlgoritmo de Otimização do Gafanhoto (AOG) para problema de inversão em Eletrorresistividade 1DGrasshopper Optimization Algorithm (GOA) for Inversion Problem in Electroresistivity 1DbachelorThesisCNPQ::CIENCIAS EXATAS E DA TERRA
