Acesso em: 13 jan. 2026.2525-7935https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/67650The research analyzes the process of developing and updating Under-graduate Course Pedagogical Projects (PPC) at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN), focusing on the recurring delays between 2021 and 2023 and the complexity of the information flows involved. The objective is to map these flows in order to identify informational bottlenecks and support the creation of an informa-tive guide that clarifies the stages and procedures involved. This qualitative study involved interviews, document and literature analysis, and the use of Integration Definition for Function Modeling (IDEF0) and Design Structure Matrix (DSM) tools to graphically represent the activities and information flows. The results highlight critical issues, summarized in a governance matrix, such as the absence of signed documents, communication delays between course coordination and institutional sectors, slow review by oversight bodies, and challenges in checking component course forms. A significant contributing factor is the lack of synchronization between the schedules of different institutional bodies, which hinders process efficiency. As a practical contribution, institutional actions are proposed to improve infor-mation flows, aiming to enhance the quality and timeliness of PPC development and updates.
