In this way, governments should be prepared to open their data to meet the demands of citizens and data intermediaries. In this context, the objective of this paper is to evaluate the scenario of readiness to open data in the Court of Auditors of Rio Grande do Norte, with the purpose of monitoring, identifying and proposing improvements to the Open Data Policy implementation initiative in the institution. A qualitative analysis was performed by observing a methodology developed by the World Bank, called Open Data Readiness Assessment (ODRA), with some adaptations, with the purpose of adapting it to the context of the open data ecosystem in the State of Rio Grande do Norte. The study showed that the institution has a high degree of readiness for Open Data (OD).
