Its focus is not on understanding the country's socio-economic contradictions at a macro level, but rather on broadening our understanding of the structural dimension and how people deal with the phenomenon of zunga. Following a theoretical line of structuralism in studies of societies, we sought to understand the extent to which the Angolan government deals with the socio-economic challenges of zungueiras and their multiple dynamics, including kixikila.
