Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Graduação em Comunicação Social - Audiovisual) - Departamento de Comunicação Social, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2020.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/34420The postmodern world, panorama of revolution in communications, in which there are more opportunities for access to different media and forms of entertainment, has been unveiling the musical genre K-Pop as an international media phenomenon. The following work aims to investigate to what extent the culture of fandoms has helped the exponential growth of the musical genre in recent years. The method chosen was the inductive one, based on bibliographic research on media convergence and participatory culture and website data analysis. As a result, the work reveals that the so-called K-poppers are consumers and active agents of cyberculture, known for breaking records of views, streams and having a strong online presence, praising and bringing visibility to the genre, due to the creation of content and the massive media sharing on different platforms and social networks to the point that it is recognized in various forms of Western media and institutions, such as magazines, television programs and global award events.Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Brazilhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0/br/FandomCultura ParticipativaK-PopCiberculturaA cultura dos fandoms no universo do K-Pop: como a prática dos fãs contribuiu no crescimento e espalhamento do gênero a partir de 2015bachelorThesis
