This study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of existing legal norms in protecting consumers exposed to misleading advertising on social media within the context of e-commerce. The methodology adopted was qualitative, with exploratory bibliographic research, using the deductive method and the analysis of doctrinal and legislative sources.
