The neighborhood of Praia de Iracema in particular surrounding the area of the Centro Cultural Dragão do Mar. It was intended to examine the context of development of productive forces does interact within the informal work activities. The tourist activity, more particularly, tourism as an expression from the producer and consumer market of cultural product and services and leisure activities, which develop in the spaces created by and for the 'cultural industry'. We observed that the growth of tourism activities actually make up the Fortaleza of conservative modernization process of Ceará, conforming in the same territory and concomitantly social relations of work consisting of activities / products sophisticated and cultural activities / services precarious and archaic. In the totality of social relations of production in capitalist societies, including informal work the main object of our study to be effective, most of all activity within the tourist activity is a totality of lower complexity, in the context of social relations. We analyze how the informality major gains in the restructuring process, assuming more and more structural feature. Around the Centro Cultural Dragão do Mar demands are focused on sales activities for food and beverage offering which emerge from the real need for survival and whose demand arises from the flow of leisure and tourism at this site and its surroundings. There are several distinctions between categories of informal workers in the area. Many people were interviewed with a purposeful sample of workers in the informal different activities, such as hawkers and peddlers. We use the information to apprehend the techniques of observation and interviews during November and December 2009 and January 2010. Measurements of the activities of hawkers and stallholders in the vicinity of Sea Dragon are very diverse, containing the common mark of instability; of substandard conditions and labor relations; degradation of human life, and barbarism, compelling in this space.
