Monografia (Especialização) - Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Escola Multicampi de Ciências Médicas, Residência Multiprofissional em Atenção Básica, Caicó, RN, 2023https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/52089Introduction: The perception of Workers' Health within the health/disease process has not always been recognized as it is today, in Brazil and worldwide the struggle for labor rights has been through an arduous path; despite this, the workers' illness is palpable and is due to the great workloads as well as the lack of comprehensive care for this population. Thus, healthcare practices and Integrative and Complementary Practices (PIC's) are good alternatives for thinking about healthcare for workers. Objective: To describe the perception of primary care professionals about the multi-professional residency activities carried out in the extension project "Precariousness and illness of health workers in the sanitary crisis of COVID-19: multi-professional residents of primary care in action - PATS COV 19". Methodology: This is a reflective and analytical description of the experience report type about the author's perception during the participation in the aforementioned project. The actions consisted of body relaxation practices performed in the city of Caicó in Rio Grande do Norte for Primary Care professionals of the UBS's of the neighborhoods Boa Passagem, Barra Nova, and Walfredo Gurgel. Results: The professionals who participated in the project were quite satisfied with the practice promoted since after the moments many expressed reports such as "This was very relaxing"; "I feel like a new person"; "I'm stepping on cloud nine"; "I should have it every week"; besides reporting that they were much more excited to face the work day. Conclusion: The project proved to be a strong contributor to promoting the health of this group that goes through so many hardships and neglects, the impacts of the activities were positive in the quality of life and work of the participants, even more so in such an atypical moment that we experienced from the year 2020, which was the pandemic.Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Brazilhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0/br/Saúde do TrabalhadorTerapias ComplementaresAtenção BásicaPromoção a saúdeWorker HealthIntegrative and Complementary PracticesPrimary Health CareHealth PromotionProjeto precarização e adoecimento dos trabalhadores(as) da saúde na crise sanitária do Covid-19: o cuidado à saúde dos profissionais da atenção básicaProject precariousness and illness of health workers in the health crisis of Covid-19: the health care of primary care professionals in primary carbachelorThesisCNPQ::CIENCIAS DA SAUDE
