Relatório da grande reportagem "Pobreza menstrual e seus impactos: relatos de uma Natal que sangra". 2022. Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2022.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/48481The reportage "Menstrual poverty and its impacts: Reports of a natal that bleeds" seeks to make visible the stories of Potiguar women who have suffered or still suffer from menstrual poverty, thus expanding the debate on the topic and the need for public policies that solve it. Although menstruation is a physiological phenomenon in the life of every person who has a uterus, the lack of resources and access to face this period in a safe and hygienic way is a reality for many people who live in vulnerable conditions in rural or urban environments. Edilma, Eleide, Andreza, Hélida, and Herika are women from Potiguar, who live in the Emmanuel Bezerra Occupation and have already lived the terrifying experience of not having how to properly manage their own menstruation. The stories are told from a sensitive observation of the memories they use to construct their accounts and of the visible sequels left by the denial of a right that should be basic and unquestionable. Through personal accounts and life stories, the work demonstrates that menstrual dignity is a public health issue and contributes to the breaking down of prejudices that permeate the issue of menstruation.Pobreza menstrualMenstruaçãoJornalismo literárioHistórias de vidaRelatório da grande reportagem "Pobreza menstrual e seus impactos: relatos de uma Natal que sangra"bachelorThesis
