Thus, the present work aimed to evaluate the water quality in the Pitimbu neighborhood of the city of Natal, verifying its adequacy to potability standards. Water samples were collected from the public supply network and from the domestic reservoir, in ten residences. The following parameters were analyzed: pH, electrical conductivity, turbidity, free residual chlorine and Total Coliforms.
