OpenWorks: desenvolvimento de um modelo de negócios para uma plataforma de serviços digitais. 2022. 63 f. Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Graduação em Ciências e Tecnologia - Negócios Tecnológicos) - Escola de Ciências e Tecnologia, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2022.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/46432The COVID-19 pandemic has brought a series of social and economic impacts. In the service sector, due to difficulties in adapting to the digital model, more than 715 thousand companies have definitively closed their operations since the beginning of the pandemic. In parallel, the Brazilian information and communication technology market moved more than 49.5 billion dollars in 2020 and is the fastest growing activity in the sector. In this way, the main focus of this work is to develop a business model for a startup, aiming to facilitate the access of micro and small entrepreneurs and startups to qualified service providers in the digital area. The development of the new business is justified by the need to connect companies to qualified professionals, in order to contribute to the reduction of unemployment and death rates of companies and startups in the country. The study was carried out through a quantitative research, with secondary sources, and qualitative, through an exploratory semi-structured interview about the service provision market. From this, a case study was carried out with the validation of hypotheses of the problem and an analysis of the market and competitors, which made it possible to verify that there is an interesting potential market to be explored. In this context, personas and user journeys were created and the business model of OpenWorks, a startup that offers a digital services marketplace, focused on people and companies looking for service providers, was developed. Next, the product's features were prioritized and a high-fidelity prototype of the solution was created. Finally, it was concluded that the process of validation of hypotheses and experimentation constitute an essential step in the development of a new business and that the analysis of the market and competitors are critical factors in the definition of a business model.
