For the data analysis about ceremonial costumes for brides was used the synchronous and diachronic analysis, it evidencing the changings that occurred in the costumes during that period. Through tools as the semantic board it was possible to visualize clearly the objectives to be achieved. With the decoding of graphic elements, it was possible to design patterns, using graphic elements from the couple’s costumes, giving rise to new shapes which were later transformed into a draw for the embroidery of the dress.
