The objective of this study is to report how they act as leaders, how their leadership skills are developed, and the impacts caused on their leadership in the workplace. The location studied is a teaching, research, and extension hospital in the city. This training was carried out in March 2024, totaling a total of 4 meetings in different shifts and sectors. In a dynamic format, two forms of questionnaire were applied to the managers, one semi-structured and the second, a word cloud. Approximately 50 nurse leaders from this institution participated in this training. Based on the methodology of educator Oscar Hara Holliday of reporting experiences in a chronological order, this training pointed out several challenges in the perception of these nurses about their effectiveness as leaders, the role of the institution in resolving conflicts in a need for more assertive communication.
