In the medicine field, the motion analysis can be used to help diagnostic process and pathologies investigation. Over the past decades, the object tracking technology has been used for diferentes purposes such as movement detection of a specific part of the body, face detection with the aim to define emotions and eye detection, known as eye-tracking. Recent works indicates that eye-tracking systems can be useful to help diagnosis of many pathologies such as dyslexia. The diagnosis process of dyslexia is complex, expensive and takes time, because it is necessary a multidisciplinary team made up of differents health professionals such as neurologist, psychologist, speech therapist, ophthalmologist, and others. Each professional realizes specific procedures that may be related to many causes, a connection of these procedure’s results is used to establish the diagnosis. The diagnosis systems available on the market are expensive and has some mobility problems. This present research aims to study and establish use parameters, software and hardware specifications for the creation of a system called as Dystracker. The system offers a low cost and high mobility, being able to detect eye movement. As a health tool, the system is capable to create reports and record procedures. This, with the definition of scene capture such as sensor’s and IR emitter’s positions will serve as parameters to build a system capable to support dyslexia triage based on ocular motricity déficits, besides other pathologie of the same nature.
