We considered three structural modifications (conventional, symmetric, and antisymmetric) in lead-epoxy composite materials embedded between two semi-infinite aluminum layers. Our numerical experiments focus on the longitudinal and transverse wave propagation in an ultrasonic frequency regime for different incident angles. The number of perfect transmission peaks and the distribution of the band gap vary significantly for the modified arrangements.
