To ensure that these objectives are achieved, it is necessary that well made budgets are made, therefore, a good quantitative survey is also necessary. Currently, the vast majority of these quantitative are carried out by the traditional method, printed boards or by using 2D software, which causes many failures throughout the process. Thus, this article seeks to verify the usefulness of Revit for the extraction of quantitatives and if there is any evolution in this field provided by the BIM software. This analysis will be done through a case study of the Refectory of Area 3 of the Central Campus-UFRN, comparing the amounts collected by Autocad versus the one collected by Revit.
