The practice of monitoring helps also in the process of Organizational Intelligence. The aim of this study is to present models of informational monitoring in several countries, which resulted in planning and implementing a set of practices, techniques and tools for the development of organizational intelligence. The techniques of data collection were observation, documentary analysis and literature review. The information collected is treated in a qualitative way. The basic processes of collection, analysis, validation and dissemination of information are activities that allow the monitoring of the external environment of organizations which has become known for making decisions with less risk.
