Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Graduação em Educação Física) – Departamento de Educação Física, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2015.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/39400This study is a literature review about the attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). The goal is to gather information about the issue and show that the teacher of physical education in schools and through the body practices, has key role in the learning process of children diagnosed with ADHD. Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder is a disease that is reaching about 5% of children of school age. ADHD has a purely clinical diagnosis and it is characterized by impulsivity, restlessness or hyperactivity and inattention. Knowing that children with ADHD have a prefrontal cortex dysfunction brought about by low production of dopamine (a neurotransmitter associated with cognition, motor learning, sleep, mood, attention and learning), which may obtain an increase in its production through physical activity, this work shows the important role of body practices in the lives of children with this disease.openAccessTDA/H; Educação Física; DopaminaTDA/H; Physical Education; DopamineA importância do professor de educação física no desenvolvimento da criança TDA/HbachelorThesisTDA , EDUCAÇÃO FÍSICA
