Their illness has an impact on both their professional and personal lives. In this perspective, this study aims to develop a navigation protocol for assisting healthcare workers with chronic non-communicable diseases. This is a methodological study conducted using Pasquali's psychometric framework, organized into three procedures: theoretical procedures in which a Scoping Review was carried out to support the definition of the contents that were part of the protocol; empirical procedures for constructing the protocol using scientific evidence and validating the content and appearance via Google forms and Delphi stages with judges who are experts in the area of occupational health and chronic diseases; and analytical procedures with analysis of the data from the previous phase using the content validation coefficient, when items with a minimum agreement of 80% among the judges were considered valid. This study was approved by the Research Ethics Committee (CAAE: 83295624.2.0000.5537). The study was approved by the Research Ethics Committee of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte, under Ethical Appreciation Certificate No. 7,168,956. After the protocol was developed, supported by the results of the Scoping Review, it was submitted to the assessment of 10 judges who responded to all Delphi I rounds, and a general content and appearance validity coefficient of 0.96 was achieved, and they made suggestions for improvements and enhancements. Therefore, the protocol was considered valid in its content and appearance, and can contribute to guiding health workers diagnosed with chronic disease, helping them to ‘navigate’ the health system.pt-BRAcesso AbertoCIENCIAS DA SAUDE::ENFERMAGEMSaúde do trabalhadorDoenças crônicas não transmissíveisNavegação de pacientesEstudo de validaçãoConstrução e validação de protocolo de navegação para assistência ao trabalhador de saúde com doença crônica não transmissívelmasterThesisCIENCIAS DA SAUDE::ENFERMAGEM
