In this context, the government passed Law 11 598 of 3 December 2007 establishing the National Network for Simplification and Legalization of Companies and Businesses - REDESIM, it is a system that establishes guidelines and procedures for the simplification and integration of the registration process and legalization of entrepreneurs and legal entities and is being implemented across the country. In order to verify that the creation of this new tool enabled the reduction of excessive red tape in business registration, there was an interview with the persons responsible for the low industry, change and registration of 22 accounting firms in town Caicó. The results show that there was a reduction of red tape in procedures for legalization of business activity, but it is noticeable that the organs are not fully integrated making the system need to be further enhanced.openAccessREDESIMBurocraciaRegistroDesburocratização do processo de registro e legalização de empresas: impactos causados com a implementação da REDESIM conforme a Lei nº 11.598, de 3 de dezembro de 2007bachelorThesis
