In this sense, we seek, in the interdiscursive relationship between the fictional text and the Sacred Writing, with regard to the representation of women, observing how, based on kinship, the writer uses the strategy of irony, making one see the difference of her fiction in relation to to the biblical discourse with which it dialogues. (1994) and Hutcheon (2000). As for the methodological approach, this research is of a qualitative and bibliographical nature, considering that we proceeded, initially, to the survey of productions about the literary work with the cut in the analytical categories, trying to make, even if briefly, a consultation to the author's critical fortune. Then, we carried out studies on the theory of intertextuality and theory as the basis of our study, followed by the analysis of the short story object of our discussion. We noticed the presence of irony in the analyzed literary text, identified in the way the author wrote her story from the intertextual relationship created with the biblical text. From this point of view, we find that, through irony, Clarice Lispector's tale enables the expansion of the senses or creating a divergence of meaning in relation to the religious history of the gestation around Maria Nazaré, the one chosen to be the mother of Jesus.Attribution-NoDerivs 3.0 Brazilhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nd/3.0/br/conto; Clarice Lispector; Via crucis; ironia; intertextualidade.short story; Clarice Lispector; Via Crucis, irony, intertextuality.Via crucis: intertexto com a tradição bíblica e ironiabachelorThesisCNPQ::LINGUISTICA, LETRAS E ARTES
