Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2025.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/65048The article presents insights on commercial immersive exhibitions that revisit the work of renowned artists in the history of Western art, aiming to understand the ideological aspects around this growing phenomenon in the Brazilian context. Through a literature review combined with historical and critical analysis of the object of the research, the connection between the experience of commercial immersive exhibitions and the context of postmodernity was also examined. The study is based on the works of Oliver Grau (2007), Rosangela Leote (2015), and Sônia Salcedo del Castillo (2008) on art and immersivity; Marilena Chauí (1994) on the concept of ideology; and Stuart Hall (2017) and Guy Debord (1997) on the postmodern context.
