With the continuous growth of this sector, challenges arise related to the implementation of mandatory health and safety requirements in the workplace. The lack of adequate training and lack of knowledge of safe practices increase the risk of accidents and exposure to unhealthy conditions, harming the health of workers and productive efficiency. This study aims to assess the importance of a specific qualification program for aquaculture in Rio Grande do Norte, which addresses technical and safety requirements, aiming to minimize risks and promote a safe and sustainable work environment. This work continues to guide in a clear and efficient way to clarify doubts regarding the application of safety standards.
