A experiência estética em duas obras de Newton Navarro com o uso do SoundPainting. Orientador: Dr. Jefferson Fernandes Alves. 2024. 111f. Aiming to reduce the inequality of opportunities in access to culture, this work seeks to bring another possibility of aesthetic experience to blind people, SoundPainting, a technique proposed by Josélia Neves that combines sound effects and musical accompaniment to the audio description of artistic works. To evaluate the impact of this technique, SoundPainting scripts were created for two works by the artist Newton Navarro: "Dom Quixote" and "Sancho Panza", which are part of the collection of the Art and Culture Center of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte - UFRN, and submitted to the evaluation of seven (7) people - with visual impairment, through a focus group that took place at the UFRN Education Center. SoundPainting features music composed by Prof. Marcus Varela, from the UFRN School of Music, based on a survey of the aesthetics, history and style of Newton Navarro's two works. The construction of the SoundPainting scripts was validated by the focus group and as a result, we hope that they open new horizons for the aesthetic experience of works of art, as well as enabling a new field for musical compositions.Acesso AbertoSoundPaintingacessibilidade estéticaNewton NavarroA experiência estética em duas obras de Newton Navarro com o uso do SoundPaintingmasterThesisCNPQ::CIENCIAS HUMANAS::EDUCACAO
