It is possible to identify quality prenatal care actions, as well as the development of uncomplicated childbirth and the reduction of maternal and neonatal mortality indicators. Method: This is a quantitative, descriptive and analytical research based on data from the third external evaluation cycle of the National Program for Access and Quality Improvement of Primary Care (PMAQ-AB), in the Fourth Region of Public Health (IV). URSAP), which is located in the municipality of Caicó, located in the state of Rio Grande do Norte, and encompasses 25 municipalities in the Seridó Potiguar Region. Results and Discussion: The research was composed by 121 professionals, who answered Module II of the external evaluation process of PMAQ -AB, of the third cycle regarding the care in pregnancy-puerperal care.
