When narrowing searches to a specific type, the 10th edition of the National Survey of Violence against Women shows that 30% of women interviewed reported having been victims of domestic or family violence committed by a male individual. This study aimed to analyze the quality of the data, regarding the completeness of the fields in the Individual Notification Form of Interpersonal/Self-Inflicted Violence, specifically reporting violence against women, residing in Natal, Rio Grande do Norte, between the years 2018 to 2022. Ecological study that analyzed the completeness of data from the Notifiable Diseases Information System, through descriptive analysis and the proportion of completed fields. 1,738 cases were reported; completeness was very poor in the variables education (31.42%), disability/disorder (48.1%), recidivism (43.6%), motivation for violence (38.3%), suspicion of drug use alcohol (38.6%), life cycle (46.5%); and poor in the variables pregnant (68.3%), race/color (67.9%), marital status (56.1%), sexual orientation (54.1%), time of occurrence (53.9%), place of occurrence (61.9%), number of people involved (69.6%).
