Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Graduação) - Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Centro de Ciências Humanas, Letras e Artes, Departamento de Artes, Natal, 2023.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/56499This article addresses a discussion around the creative process in choreographic composition of the Arts ministry of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal Ecclesiastical Movement (RCC) of the Roman Catholic Apostolic Church (ICAR), located in the metropolitan region of the city of Natal/RN, with reference to experience of the author as an interpreter-creator. The purpose of this research is to expand the field of reflections on this topic in the academic sphere and in the Sacred space and to highlight relationships between dance and spirituality as a form of expressing praise to God. In this way, the study brings to light thoughts and bodily practices, taking into account the investigative process of this dancing body, the dance and the Sacred that surrounds it, and the choreographic creation that transcends the body that expresses itself. The research methodology has a qualitative approach of a theoretical nature and is based on key concepts in the religious context of the Bible (2007), in the Sacred context of Chauí (2002) and Eliade (2001), dialoguing with the studies of Aesthesia and phenomenology from the perception of Merleau Ponty (1969; 1994), studies of dance elements by Rengel (2017), in choreographic composition by Tibúrcio (2014), and aspects of Eukinetics and Choreutics by Rudolf Laban (1978) among other authors, who discuss this theme. Throughout the text we bring descriptive writing in dialogue with scholars and with the experience lived by me and by the participants of the choreographic product created in the ministry.
