From a methodologic perspective, the research is descriptive with a qualitative approach, using an online survey to collect the information in need. The survey is composed of 9 questions, and it was forwarded to the High School students through their teachers. The research gathered answers from 51 students placed at two schools from Natal/RN and one school from São José do Campestre/RN. In order to analyze the data collected by the survey, the questions were divided by groups, being them: the student's perception of P.E classes; the motives and situations that makes them not participate; the motives that makes them participate; their perception about the teacher's methodology; finally, their perception about how P.E can be more inviting or welcoming. The analyzed data allowed us to observe that, in general, the students who collaborated with this work are fairly participative in P.E classes. However, it's important to mind those who find some reason to not participate.
